I’m so happy to be able to squeeze in my first show in over a year. I’ll have one piece in it (to be posted later today or tomorrow). The opening is on the evening of October 11, 2014 in San Diego, CA. Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend this one- I really tried this time. My fall quarter just started and my work load is just too massive to get away right now. Hopefully, next time!

Happy New Year!
My 2013 was a crazy whirlwind. I got married and started going back to school to become an elementary school teacher. Along with that, I have been working full time with children who have special needs. Time for art has absolutely suffered, but this has been a good change. My inner voice is still constantly screaming at me to work on new projects and to draw, draw, draw. It’s incessant. Some how I will try to find time to sketch and make new drawings, paintings, and prints. I need to spend some time reevaluating what I have in my Etsy shop as well as making those things more efficient for me to produce. For the time being, my shop is closed until I can ??find?? time and get organized.
May 2014 be your best year yet.

I’ve started designing my own knitting patterns. Knitting is what I do to burn anxious energy and relax between projects. The first one that I have for sale is a star pillow. The pattern can be easily modified to make smaller stars for ornaments or mobiles. I’ve spent a trillion hours designing this pattern and now it can be yours in PDF form in my ETSY shop. Only $4.20!
If you find yourself in Truckee, California please do yourself a favor and stop by this adorable boutique, run by some dear friends of my family, in the downtown shopping area. They sell fresh cut flowers and gorgeous home goods. I’m very excited that sometime next week, a few of my magnet sets will start popping up over there.
